The Sierra Vista Farmers Market is Thursdays at Veterans Park in Sierra Vista. You can buy fresh local produce and treats. Brown Canyon Ranch Historical Site is a nice place to visit, lots of outdoor activities, such as mountain trails, caves and nearby towns. Brown’s Canyon Trail, Beatty’s Miller Canyon Apiary & Orchard, Garden and Carr Canyons and Wine Tours & Tastings.
The town just outside the base Fort Huachuca is called Sierra Vista. Sierra Vista offers a wide variety of things to do while visiting the area. Some enjoyable places to visit would include, the Sierra Vista Farmers Market, Brown Canyon Ranch Historical Site, Brown's Canyon Trail, Beatty's Miller Canyon Apiary & Orchard, Garden and Carr Canyons hiking and Wine Tours & Tastings.
Visiting the Fort Huachuca historical museum, gift shop and historical annex with it's many displays of UAS equipment, still images, and audio-visual theater. Its 10,000 square feet of gallery will give perspective of Army life and "the exploits of the Buffalo Soldiers"
