The Mittry Lake Wildlife Area is nearby, and you can go camping, hunt small game, or go boating for an afternoon.

If you're in Yuma, AZ, you might catch a glimpse of some unexpected desert wildlife. The Saihati Camel Farm is home to one of the largest herd of camels in North America. There are also other exotic animals at the farm, such as emus and ostriches.
There are two entrances to Yuma Proving Ground. To get to our hotel, use the second entrance that leads to the main administrative buildings. We are located in Buildings 506A and 538. The front desk and check-in area are located at the Candlewood Suites, Building 540.
