The room was nice. Breakfast is good. I stay at this property often and usually bring my dog. I didn’t this time. I didn’t realize the pet fee was added to my room. When I checked in, the front desk person did not verify that information. Reviewing my bill after check out I see I was charged the pet fee. I called the property directly to have the fee credited back to my account. When I asked the person I was speaking with, why this information wasn’t verified at check in (in the past I have had to verify & put my pets name on a document & sign a form) the lady I spoke with told me it isn’t their their responsibility to verify that information. I’m sorry, but that’s exactly your job, to verify who is all staying at the property!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Our room had a full kitchen, couch, desk, queen bed and big bathroom. The staff was fantastic. Loved the area!! Best hotel experience we have ever had.

I was in the Altoona area for a surgical procedure for a family member. They booked a room for me at the Staybridge. Cathy made arrangements for me to get into a room early so I didn’t have to sit at the Hospital until 3pm to check in. I was so impressed by this. Thank you so much Cathy for helping me out. I would easily make the decision to stay here anytime I am back in the area. The room was very nice and clean. The kitchen space was great for long term stays. The bed was super comfy. A great experience.

After the front desk checked in a group, they checked me in and recognized my loyalty and offered me a water for my stay
When I walked in the room the room as very clean and surprisingly quiet even though it was by the by the pass through area.
The only problem I experienced was when I took a shower the shower door fell on me. Reported it to audit, the morning staff and general manager. They all very very apologetic and took care of the situation with haste. When I was out of the room to eat breakfast, maintenance went right away to fix it. I also got a considerable discount thanks to the general manager. Thank you for accommodating a fellow IHG employee.

The room was out of this world, like the best room I’ve ever had for the money. Full size kitchen with Full size fridge and dishwasher including a set of dishes for eight, just perfect!
The complementary breakfast on the other hand was very disappointing, The only hot item they had other than waffles was eggs and diced sausage, Neither one tasted the best!! I thought about trying a waffle but I didn’t see any canned cream or strawberries/Raspberries to put on it, I’m not a fan of syrup! I also thought 930 was too early to close up breakfast, a lot of people were still eating and walking in, 10 or 1030 I thought it would be more appropriate!

Great stay but fridge was dirty and tv wasn’t working

I was staying in this hotel for the night of my wedding, I got there on a Thursday and got married Friday (two day stay.) I got into my room Thursday to dirty dishes and the smell of dirty garbage. I called the front desk to let them know all my silverware was dirty (hoping they would just give me some new ones) and she responded with “well you have a dishwasher.” In times of covid I was highly dissatisfied with how they handled the situation and they left me to clean someone else’s dishes.
