For outdoor fun, you must visit Mazarick Park. It's 80 beautiful acres of tennis courts, frisbee parks, dog runs, running trails, picnic areas and boating. The Special Operations/Airborne Museum in downtown Fayetteville, is worth getting off of I-95 to see, even if you didn't plan on stopping in Fayetteville. It draws huge crowds daily and only one block away from the Huske Hardware Brewery.

Indoor Rock Climbing has taken the city by storm and is a popular activity for all ages. The Dogwood Festival in April is Awesome. The Fort Liberty Fireworks on the 4th of July is one of the best in the Carolinas. The Caper Fear River Trail is very scenic and family oriented. Fayetteville After Five, free concert series runs from May to September. Fantastic venue and fun for all ages.

Cape Fear Botanical Gardens is absolutely gorgeous and is a must see when you visit Fayetteville. Come out to see Fayetteville's semi-pro baseball team, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers at downtown, Segra Stadium. Crown Coliseum will satisfy all your concert needs.
