Conrad and Walter the best front desk attendant

I would like to highly recommend the InterContinental Hotel at Doral in Miami. Every time I stay here, I’m consistently impressed by the cleanliness, attention to detail, and overall quality of the experience. The rooms are always spotless, and the hotel maintains a high standard in every aspect, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The food here is also exceptional, offering a variety of dishes that are both flavorful and well-prepared. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality of the food never disappoints. The dining experience is always enhanced by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant and its staff.

This time, I want to give a special mention to Conrad Baguisa. He is, without a doubt, one of the kindest and most attentive staff members I have encountered at this hotel. Conrad goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, offering assistance with a genuine smile and a helpful attitude. Whether it’s a simple request or something more specific, he is always quick to respond and eager to make sure my stay is as comfortable as possible. His level of professionalism, combined with his friendly demeanor, truly sets him apart and adds a personal touch to the hotel’s already outstanding service.

Walter also helped us with a billing issue that he was very proactive to resolve


Overall, the InterContinental at Doral Miami continues to be my top choice for accommodations in the area, not only for the excellent facilities and dining but for the exceptional service provided by team members like Conrad. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a hotel that exceeds expectations in every way.

I don’t often write reviews but my experience at this hotel has been so good that it seemed appropriate. The primary reason for that has been Conrad at the front desk. As soon as I walk through the door he greets me, always remembering my name and with a warm, relaxing smile. He is without a doubt the best front desk person I have ever encountered.

Very happy!!! I have received very good attention!! Begging with a great welcome with Mr Conrad and Carlos.
Jessica helped to me to solve a situation very fast and super kind.
After that my room has clean as always ( perfect conditions).

The food in the club is amazing and all the personnel in every shift have been very kind!!

Excellent Hotel

There was an issue upon arrival at the hotel where the system was down, which caused me to wait for more than an hour. I repeatedly spoke with the receptionist, requesting a room based on my reservation and offering to pay, especially since I had traveled by car and was very tired. However, the receptionist apologized and said he couldn’t help. Eventually, Mr. Omar, the front desk manager, came and facilitated the process, especially after he knocked that I am a Diamond Elite member of the IHG loyalty program.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful, the room is very nice, and the pool is great.

Not really up to standards.
Extremely disappointed no gift shop however gift shop signs were there. No staff to help with parking or luggage . No friendly at all service was poor at best.

I can start by saying we were sooo looking forward to our stay at Intercontinental Doral, The Hotel, room was not what we expected, thankfully the manager on site was able to switch our room to a much better one not facing a wall! :)
We were shocked at the demeanor of the staff, not the friendliest to the say the least.

Always a great stay when I come here for my monthly business trip. It’s a great feeling to be recognized by my first name when I come through the door by Conrad. He’s such a treasure. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the hotel is modern and stylish, the location is great for my business needs. Breakfast bar is phenomenal.
