Biggest hotel disappointment in Las Vegas

Stay started badly and swiftly went downhill from there. Rude front desk staff, terrible bell hop service, restaurants and bars advertised as open 24 hours shut unexpectedly.

Also, considering how much this property likely benefitted from F1 being in Las Vegas, tell your staff not to moan at guests about how their reason for being in the city has caused mayhem…

Final point; Ambassador status can be purchased (I get several invites per month) where as IHG lifetime Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite cannot, you have to pay for the stays to rack up the points to reach status. So don’t belittle those who spend £1000s with IHG every year.

Moldy smell in room, long walks, nothing is free and no acknowledgment as a member!

The nightmare started upon booking, it won’t go through after many times of trying and I have to call to make a reservation but I patiently did it anyway because this property looks good but I should have not proceeded and took this as sign.

Upon arriving, bellman were nice enough to offer some help.

Since the property was big and saw the concierge and as a member I walk and politely ask where to check in and she just pointed the direction.

I tried to check in online but the system and app is bugging or glitching resulting in long lines in the Front desk area, luckily as a member there is shorter lines. Unlike other properties and hotel chain they acknowledge your membership and/or loyalty but not in this property. No perks, upgrades, or even water in the room after walking too much steps passing the smoky casino.

The room assigned to us was big and spacious with decent view of the trump hotel and the treasure island hotel. The room smells so bad with molds that I got allergy the next day. I haven’t reach out to change room as we were just staying for a night (good thing) and just after check in, we have to go out and we’re back late and tired and just decided to rest. Linens were not perfectly clean as if it wasn’t washed. And even this hotel was expensive, there was no bidet and there was limited supply in the bathroom. There was a mini bar but you have to pay afterwards including water which is ridiculous for an expensive hotel. And even though we did not touched it, we were charged $300+ for it that I have to call again to get it fixed. I tried calling too for breakfast room service but it was busy so we just ate outside and check out early. Overall I don’t recommend staying to this property, and regret staying here and will never consider this property again. It is not worth it to splurge here and better spend money at other properties around Vegas!

From first moment at guest services I asked about the line for key pick up and was directed to a wrong location due to misleading guidance from staff member
When I found the line , I explained what happened and suggested to make a clear label for the line , the staff member didn’t comment or say a word , I expected and apology for the misleading advise I received !
No recognition for msg IHG membership status or ambassador status , not even a greeting
Room was great , but access to elevator was through a narrow corridor especially when guests move with their luggage!

It’s unacceptable customer service for 5 star hotel. Staff was not treating customer well at all. I booked three rooms for 4 nights at this hotel, went to front desk at 8:30am for early check in, it was told would be ready soon when room is clean, but room wasn’t ready until 4pm. I checked several times, explained I brought with young kids and elders, asked them to expedite, but always got the same answer “would rush” for it but actually not. I was mad and had to ask to talk to manager instead, then it was finally settled down. For so many choices for 5 stars hotel in strip, I will not choose this hotel in the future as staffs are disqualified, no knowledge to have good customer service to work for IHG BRAND HOTELS.

Greatly enjoyed our stay at this enchanting hotel. However, I am increasingly becoming disappointed—disillusioned—with IHG tier status, especially the Ambassador membership. Not only has recognition been basically non-existent, the one weekend night reward is looking pretty useless so far. Too many restrictions. As my account status shows, I’ve lost interest in pursuing Diamond status. :/

Not a very good stay

Wasn’t happy. Didn’t even receive an upgrade nor was given a high floor ad requested. Early check in was a bit delayed too.

A couple friends who booked at the same time received much better rooms, higher floors and didn’t even have to wait to have their room. Yet I was told none of that is available to me at the time (we checked in a the same time).

She slipped a $20 bill to the front desk staff, at least that’s what my friend told me. So much for “premier” status.

Pathetic facilities
Extremely long wait to call the front desk or have the room cleaned (where cleaned is a big word)

Unprofessional hospitality

I expected more for International hotel but their hospitality was not professional at all.

First of all, I had a disappointing check in experience with Bryan a front desk staff. He was very unfriendly, unprofessional and not motivated at all.
No explanation about the facilities or wifi, breakfast, no eye contacts while he talked, but he is only interested in selling upgrades.
I also didn’t get any recognition of IHG membership.

I had a big suitcase and 2 other bags with me, but I got no assistance or even asked if I needed a help to carry all the luggage.

The room was nice and clean but there were some amenities missing, plus the clock was still set as summer time.

I spent my birthday to stay in this hotel. but it was a mistake to choose this hotel for something special event.
I wish I could stay in another nicer hotel to make my birthday more precious.
