Really bad experience

Used 40000 points to stay at this hotel wasn’t acknowledged as an IHG member the room had a very poor smell customer service was rubbish and brushed it off by sending someone with a spray

Recommend hotel 100% for many positive points like a nice and clean Rooms with many Restaurants.. Good spa area ..pool and Gym and very helpful staff with excellent Knowledge and amazing behaviours .. special thanks to Nigesh at the front offices and also Jonathan at Bell desk area

I stayed for two nights and was initially upgraded (due to status) to a nicer room. The “upgraded” room smelled really bad and when I notified staff they promptly downgraded me to a handicap room with construction going on right outside the window - had to keep curtains closed during stay. There was no DND sign, so cleaning people kept entering the room while I was sleeping, well the little sleep I was afforded with the old down pillows that felt like rocks.

Beware of the minibar / snacks! I ate 2 items, cost 10 pounds, was charged $53.43… for jellybeans and a Kit Kat.

Lastly, (not their fault, but very inconvenient after an international flight), a minute after checking in the fire alarm went off and all guests were required to exit and wait outside for 30+ minutes.

Very nice property, professional staff, fabulous breakfast buffet and dinner meals. The Indian restaurant was top notch as well. I would like to single out Elaine from the club lounge. She is amazing, professional, personable smart and funny.
Also, Johan from the FD and the whole restaurant staff.

The staff is not cooperative even they do not bother to answer the phone call. I think they have to change their staff and tired some other People. I found them very unprofessional I don’t know why they are in hospitality Business intercontinental is a very good Chain, but in United Kingdom intercontinental or 2 they have unprofessional staff.

I have been to many IHG hotels and felt like I was being treated fairly. However, I experienced a disappointing experience for the first time. From checking in trying to tell my colleagues that it was my birthday and I wanted to have a memorable time.
He didn’t bother at all, the lack of smile and the core values of the IHG was lacking.
The rest of my stay was equally bad.
I am wasting my time on talking the other lack of professionalism I have encountered.

Our stay was wonderful! Neena’s warm and friendly welcome at breakfast made us feel at home. Prashansha's service was amazing; she was friendly and attentive. The welcome fruit platter was a lovely touch. It was a shame the sauna wasn’t working while we visited, but the rest of the pool facilities were good. Highly recommended!

This is my 3rd visit ( which was not acknowledged) the check in and out is very slow , I asked for soya milk in my room 3 times before it arrived and then they wanted to charge me extra for it which I refused, there was no teabags in the room or sugar it took ages for housekeeping to bring them up and then they just bought 4 clearly you are not allowed more than 2 cups of tea , I felt this hotel has gone down hill the service was rubbish for the amount of money it costs for a nights stay. The only good thing is its proximity to the o2 I don’t think I will be coming back soon
