Travelled with my wife this was our second time staying at InterContinental Sofia.
Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by staff recognised that we are returning guests and thanked for being a loyal Diamond Ambassador. The check in process was seamless, and our luggage was transported to the room. I would like to thank and make a special mention to Kiril Radoev and Marina Borisova for their amazing professionalism and welcoming hospitality.

Treated to a wonderful room upgrade we stayed in a King Terrace Suite Cathedral View the suite was fantastic. Spacious interior, luxurious design and exceptionally comfortable. The attention to detail in the room was super beautiful decor, colours, lighting, quality furnishings, premium down duvets and pillows, everything was perfect and housekeeping did a brilliant job the room was immaculately clean. Indulgent Byredo bath products, large relaxing freestanding bath and walk-in rain shower. Experienced stunning views from the large private terrace loved the refreshing breeze that circulated our room.

The Club InterContinental Lounge is lovely, elegant and relaxing, but the service is not great. I found the Evening pre-dinner cocktail service to be lacking.
Little disappointed with the Club experience it has been so much better in other InterContinental Hotels. My impression of the evening service was very poor, not proactively asking if you wished for refills, some issues clearing and cleaning tables to my surprise our dirty glasses and bottles were still to be found on the table from 3 hours before, my wife struggled to open the red wine never came over to assist, consistently on phone and not paying attention, lack of engagement.
Service needs attention and improving to match the outstanding level of service which is associated with the luxury of a Club InterContinental Lounge.
On a better note the Bulgarian red wine served in the lounge was excellent, very high quality and well balanced.

Nice bar with very helpful and attentive bartenders they were superb, looking forward to returning in the summer and enjoying signature cocktails on the terrace.

Breakfast at ADOR restaurant was rich and tasty, the buffet selection was good. Premium brewed coffee and tea.
Enjoyed breakfast each morning but my only gripe was that the option to order from the a la carte breakfast menu was somewhat of a secret, should be displayed on each table.

The Concierge team so friendly and helpful.

Check out was handled in an extremely pleasant and professional manner by
Sevda Hadjieva, nice to meet her again.

I would definitely highly recommend the InterContinental Sofia to anyone looking for a luxury hotel located at the heart of the Bulgarian Capital.

I really enjoyed my time at the hotel - the room was large, the beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly, especially Tsvetomir Torozov in the Club Lounge who really took time to make sure my mother was taken care of each day with afternoon tea and evening drinks, just make sure the lounge doesn't ever run out of gin. I'd certain recommend the property and hope to return in the near future.
