To explore some nature when you visit Hollywood, head to the Anne Kolb Nature Center. Here you'll find 1,500 acres of protected coastal mangrove wetland that's home to numerous plants and animals, including some endangered species. One of the highlights at the park is the 68-foot observation tower. Take the elevator or climb the steps to the top to see amazing views of the Intracoastal Waterway, Atlantic Ocean and West Lake mangrove estuary.
Another fun place to check out is the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. This 2.5-mile oceanfront promenade features over 50 restaurants and 30 shops and boutiques. There are also three oceanfront parks where the entire family can have some fun.

You can also find affordable hotels a few blocks from the beach or toward the heart of the city.
If you're interested in flying into Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is just seven miles north of the city. You can also plan to drive to the area by taking Interstate 95 or U.S. Highway 1, which are both major roads that go through the area.
