1st room had roaches

The first room they gave us was full of roaches the second one the tv did not work in the bedroom. If you want to sleep in the dark thats impossible there curtains do that close just a shear over them. The room across from us had lights on all night that shined in our room.

I had called a few times prior to see about potential early check in and I was “greeted” on the phone with simple yes, no type answers. Upon check in- the receptionist had AirPods in while talking to clients. Took my card and ID and ran my card right then there and nothing else. Got into our room and there was hair all in the shower drain, there was a few hairs on the bedspread and also a king pillow shoved into a queen pillow case. Got the bill under my door the day we were scheduled to check out saying I had a zero balance and then checked out at front desk and left, only to see I had a $50 incidental fee charged to my account that was not mentioned to me as most hotels only charge $25. I just wish I could have been told about this prior to check in just to be aware.

Would highly recommend this place to anybody, looking for a clean, affordable, places to stay. I stayed a lot of IHG hotels, and this was probably one of my top five that I’ve ever been to. Also, a fair amount of restaurants within walking distance, which is really nice!

We’ve stayed at this hotel four or five times in the past, we always come back because it’s a great hotel in a well developed area close to our family. The food service is always great, even on thanksgiving, and we’ve never had a problem with noise or disturbances. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This last trip the pool was broken when we arrived, the pool is a big reason we stay there as we travel far and have children, it’s a nice break from the car for everyone. Needless to say it was a real issue for us. After some work with the staff at the hotel and a phone representative from IHG we were able to move to another hotel in the area with comparable facilities and the staff graciously took care of a portion of our bill for the problem. Overall we would still stay and recommend this hotel, they’ve always been a great place to stay.

Stopped overnight on our way to visit friends in North Carolina. This place was amazing. Friendly staff, very clean and well maintained property. Check in was a breeze. Our room was great. Spacious, very clean and comfortable. A breakfast is provided that has a nice selection of hot food items along with cereal, muffins and bagels. Checkout was easy as well. I would have no problem recommending this location to family and friends.

Over all, decent place… I would tip room service being hopeful they would clean a little better but wouldn’t. Specifically vacuum floor, if they did it wasn’t a good job. Hallways and lobby/dining area were kept clean which was nice.
The social dinners weren’t very good… broccoli and mashed potatoes with no protein? Beer was good and cheap though… breakfasts were great.
Often times I would see the front desk attendant (different ones) going out front to smoke marijuana, whole front lobby would smell like it after.

Dirty room. Needed vacuuming and dusted. Smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Complained to front desk multiple times. They sprayed air fresheners that worked for about an hour. This was my 30th night at an IHG property since the first of the year and by far the most disappointing.

During my stay at Staybridge Hotel. Unfortunately, it was a highly unpleasant one. My vehicle was broken into during my stay and over $1000 worth of belongings were stolen. Moreover, the rear door glass of my vehicle was shattered, causing
additional damage. When I reported the incident to the hotel staff, I
was shocked to hear that it had happened before. Despite knowing the security concerns and risks, the hotel did not take any measures to prevent such incidents. It is highly concerning that there were seven vehicles broken into in the vicinity of
the hotel on that particular night. I am disappointed that my stay at Staybridge Hotel ended with such a terrible experience. While the hotel facilities and services were satisfactory, the lack of security measures and response to an incident is a serious concern. I hope that you take this matter seriously and investigate the security measures at the hotel to prevent any such
incidents in the future.
