Back window got busted out. Went to the front desk the morning of check out and the front desk person didn’t even ask to file an incident report. She told me there are no cameras and nothing they can do. She could have at least said I’m sorry, or showed some empathy for me having to drive 4 hours home with no back window in 95 degree weather. Wow!

One of the best hotel experiences I have had! Great service at the desk, good breakfast options, accommodations made for early check in and late check out. I felt very safe at this hotel. Free laundry services were a bonus.

Y’all need to get better printers and systems to print my receipts because I need them for work and I called and y’all said you would email me a copy but never did so get better liars

Please fix the ticking soind coming from the headboard when it is plugged in. It was awful.
I couldn't tell if the guy sitting next to the desk was the attendant or security. Please get a comfortable seat for him, if he is suppose to work the front desk.

Stayed here for a work trip, always loved the Staybridge hotel stays. This hotel was lacking in many areas! Would not stay here again!
Not what I expected - bugs!

I was disappointed in these accommodations on several levels:
1. Requested and VERIFIED a first floor handicapped room for late arrival at approximately 10 PM on March 17, 2022. When I arrived, I was given a 2nd floor room and told all first floor rooms were filled. The man at the front desk said it was his second night and he didn't know how to check to see the verification.
2. Room 222 was assigned ... nearly the furthest from the elevator. The room appeared clean ... until I went to bed and woke up in the morning with a bug bite on the shoulder. I reported it to front desk very early and the same "new guy" said it was probably a spider.
I left for the day and when I returned, the same guy didn't remember if he told anyone else.
3. Next morning, I had 3 more bites, again reported with no action. Asked for a different room, was told none were available,
4. There was also a tornado WARNING and the front desk was asked about sheltering procedures and locations. We were told we could come to the lobby or stay in our rooms but there was no emergency plan.
BOTTOM LINE ... check for bed bugs! Don't expect anything from the front desk but a "new guy" who knows nothing. And, verified room reservations for handicapped accessible are not reliable.

New hotel, comfortable, but room for improvement

We are Platinum rewards members and always stay at IHG hotels. If we are staying more than 2 days, we often try to get a Staybridge Suites because of the room and space. This wasn't terrible and we may stay again in the future, but there is much room for improvement.
The good: The room was clean and new and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was helpful with whatever we needed.
Room for improvement: I was shocked at how small the room was-even smaller than a standard hotel room. The couch was right at the end of the bed and if it had been pulled out, the two would have touched. There was no luggage rack, but there was nowhere to put it. Luckily the couch was uncomfortable, as all our luggage had to go there. There was no table to sit at-the counter had one seat at the end and another chair against the wall, but there was no room for two people to sit at the counter. There was nowhere to relax at the end of the day other than sitting on the bed
.I appreciate the full size refrigerator, but the hotel does not have an ice maker and the ice maker in the room makes about 10 cubes at a time and very infrequently. To put ice in water bottles and coolers, we had to buy ice every day. The sink faucet only had hot water connected-to fill water bottles or get a drink, we had to get water from the bathroom. This one is minor-but it was annoying-every Staybridge suites I have stayed in had a complimentary bag of popcorn in the room and more at the desk. I asked at the desk and they were $1.50-no complimentary ones. There is no full length mirror.
The pool table was an awesome distraction and lots of fun, but all but two of the cue sticks had the tips completely broken off and the two that had tips were worn down to nothing.
The bathroom door is horrible!! It is heavy and slides, but it sticks and slides very hard so when you finally get it going, you smash your fingers as the handle is right at the end of the door.
The shower door doesn't close-perhaps the hinges need to be adjusted. We tried repeatedly to keep it closed, but you can't hold it closed and shower at the same time. The bathroom was soaking wet after each shower. The shower head is a low flow, and I have used this one before and loved it, but the water pressure is set so high that it literally rips the skin off your face. You could not face into it-had to be facing away. The shower supplies are normally great, but the gel was literally water and the shampoo and conditioner both had different colored product in them-in addition to the clear, there was yellow in one and pink in the other-all mixed together. Made me wonder if someone had added something they shouldn't have? I purchased and used my own products.
As far as value-every time there is an event, they jack up the prices-I know all hotels do this, but it was excessive.
Breakfast was frozen sandwiches.
I love IHG hotels and may stay here again, but may try the Holiday Inn across the way.

I was traveling with my family and required a room with two beds. I had a reservation at a nearby HIE but this Staybridge was closer to the Expo Center. I booked here and received confirmation by both email and app indicating my room type so I cancelled my HIE reservation. On my way to Louisville, I read an email from the hotel informing me they didn’t have any rooms with two beds available. I spent about an hour on the phone with IHG Customer Care with no resolution. As a Spire Elite member they didn’t grant me any priority over a non-rewards member. I also took issue with the fact that this room cost 45,000 points more (3 nights) than the HIE room I cancelled. I would have never paid that much extra to stay in a room with a single bed. I was told by IHG Customer Care that the hotel would contact me to address the issue before the end of my stay. No one ever contacted me. Upon returning home I sent emails on 6/15, 6/23 & 7/8 asking to be contacted. No one from the hotel ever reached out to me. As someone who travels often, I understand that mistakes happen, but this one was handled poorly and management doesn’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge it. Shame on you.
