I had a great expierence front desk was very helpful and as a ihg employee i was very happy with my stay front desk is excellent i will be returning in the future very respectful and polite and breakfest was very good and pool and jacuzzi was top notch felt like home

I have been staying at this property several times a year over the past 7 to 8 years. The staff is always nice and helpful, but the rooms, sofas, beds etc. are worn out and in bad need of being replaced.

The customer service was atrocious. I reserved a King Suite and the room was not appropriately cleaned.
Reservations and the front desk agent stated all rooms are thoroughly cleaned even if pets previously occupied the room. After being exposed to pet allergens in the room, I requested a different room and was downgraded to a Studio Suite which was much cleaner. I requested the corporate rate to match the downgraded room due to the hotel not having any more King Suites available. I was informed to speak to the manager in the morning. In the morning, I was informed that the general manager, Amber was in a meeting and unavailable. Discussing the concerns with the front desk agent in reference to being inconvenienced regarding the room. Amber came out to the front desk with her hands on her hips being combative and disgruntled, stating she was not adjusting the corporate rate and did not care. Amber expressed her frustration of going back and forth with corporate due to the formal complaint that was lodged. What took us by surprise was when Amber stated " this is not about race because the clerk at night is African American". I am predominately African American and my spouse is of Asian decent. Neither of us accused anyone of being racist or bias, therefore I am perplexed why race was mentioned. We requested to speak to upper management, however Amber denied that anyone was above her. This particular Staybridge is franchised and solely responsible for responding to complaints. It has been almost two weeks, a response has not been received. IHG guest relations offered extra point rewards for the disservice. There is no value or any amount of rewards to excuse the disrespect and hostile demeanor that was represented by Amber. It recently came to my attention that I was over charged and charged twice for a one night stay. I will be informing our department of all of the issues that occurred.

We stayed at this hotel on December 13 and 14. On the 13th, the fire alarm went off around 1130 at night. We woke our four kids and took them outside. No staff in sight. Thankfully I found my keys before I left the room to keep the kids warm in our vehicle. Fire trucks came and left, and we still didn’t see any staff. The alarm went off three more times that night with no explanation. My kids were terrified and irritable due to the piercingly loud noise waking them up all night.
The next morning during breakfast it goes off again and the staff in the eating area expressed there was no need for alarm…at least the general help was…helpful.
I ask about the alarm, and was not even given an apology and barely a glance and told offhand by the individual at the desk “dunno, I wasn’t here.”
During an emergency, I would expect the hotel to assist their customers, bring blankets outside to keep people warm. Reassure people and apologize for the inconvenience. I also would have expected them to call the company that does the alarm service for the building and pay after hours/emergency repair…not wait until the next morning.
I can state the hotel was clean and the general help was very friendly, but the staff behind the desk seemed very disinterested when I asked my question.
I would not recommend this hotel to any friends, famuly or colleagues.

We have had many good stays at different IHG hotels but was not really happy with this one. Our coffee maker was broken, the garbage disposal didn’t work, the couch was really dirty, the keys were constantly malfunctioning, no ice available, and there was glass in the hot tub that cut my sons foot pretty bad. I hate listing so many things but that’s just how it went. Really overall a bad stay, wish it wasn’t. We stay at a lot of hotels and aren’t very picky but holy smokes seemed to just pile up. Wish someone would reach out to me on this one. For the quality I am accustomed to from IHG I was really let down.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, both times for business in the area. We found the facilities extremely well-kept and pleasant, the amenities (including the full breakfast and social) were unique perks, and the price was more than reasonable. I travel a lot for work, and this was one of the best value-for-dollar hotels in which I have stayed.

I was having surgery at Providence Hospital and the hotel was close by. The staff was warm and welcomed us when we arrived. They seemed to be very accommodating to our needs and wanted us to feel comfortable.

I typically spend 6out of 8 weeks in Michigan due to business requirements.
I cannot imagine a better place to stay.
Great staff, clean comfortable rooms and excellent service and support. Did I mention great staff ! From the excellent service at the front desk to the wonderful ladies that prepare the breakfast and evening snack, everyone is just fantastic !

I stayed in the Staybridge Suites Novi for the past 3 months because of business travel. the staff working in the hotel is extremely friendly, the business center is fully equiped with high speed, free-charge internet and fax/printer, and, the overall environment there is safe/convenient/beautiful!! i will return back on Oct 5 and i really like this home-like hotel!
