Poor lighting and bad shower head fixture

The room was clean but lighting was poor. Room was unnecessarily equipped with workout equipment because there was a beautiful workout room in the lobby. Receptionist was expected to take care of food area as well as check in check out. Too long of wait. Parking was $20 a night but had to just park in retail lot. Parking should have been free.

I was disappointed with this stay, unfortunately. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Furthermore, I could not get in touch with the customer service department via phone or email to resolve billing issues.

Floors were dirty, parking to far from hotel. I had a disability that was not taken into consideration. Since Covid I spray my hotel with Lysol to assure disinfectant. I hope down room with Clorox wipes. I used the hotel towels to towel mop floor, you can see how dirty the floor was by the towels

This hotel provided me some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I had an emergency change of plans and the hotel was completely incapable of changing my reservation. I tried to give the hotel notice but at first couldn't get help at the front desk. When I finally did speak to someone they told me to call the company who did my booking. I called them up and changed the booking. However the hotel won't recognize the change therefore charged me the full amount. I was giving the hotel several days notice and I overheard the hotel turning people away telling them they were completely booked. I could not recommend staying at this properly.

I had a very nice stay at this property. The guest room and exercise gym were very clean and inviting. The staff was welcoming, and the location is excellent. I stay at this hotel on a regular basis, since I have family in the area.
I did have a slight issue at check out; however, Eva and Jenny immediately resolved it with a smile. Thank you so much, Eva and Jenny! I appreciate your help!

Pro: complimentary drink was being served as I checked in
Cons:
- got stuck in the elevator and the call button in the elevator was disconnected from the phone line. Thankfully someone else I was stuck with had their phone. Otherwise there was no way to get help
- no AC in the gym
- AC units in the room are extremely noisy
- bill was not emailed, I've emailed the hotel 3 times to get the bill and never got a response, when I called I spent 20 minutes on the phone only to get a screen shot that can't be used for an expense report

Enjoyed my stay here but would really appreciate it if the hotel would consider restarting the shuttle option for guests needing to go within a 1-2 mile radius of the hotel.

I spoke with Tamara the GM today and I was mistaken in my review when I said she came to my room. I guess it was my impression that it was her but Tamara said it possibly could have been another manager. Apparently Tamara was not aware of this situation. After I explained it to her she was very kind and made adjustments to my bill and offered me some IHG points. She promised to resolve the issues so it doesn't happen again.

This review gets 5 stars because of their Sales Manager Theresa King. I’ve done 3 weeklong stays with this property since mid-April and there were a few issues that had to be addressed however Ms King has stepped up and handled every one with grace and the utmost professionalism.
She returns your calls with the quickness and kindness and her actions results in immediate positive changes.
You have a gem in her!
Also special shout-out to the front desk team - Mary, Gary, Uumar. They always try to make sure my stay is enjoyable and customer satisfaction is 100.

Ridiculous breakfast quality and hours

I paid for breakfast during booking, and it turns out it starts at 7:30am only. This is way too late for most business travelers. And the quality is ridiculous too, tiny portions with only coffee. That’s all. If I had known this, I wouldn’t have paid for breakfast at all. This is unacceptable by IHG standards.
Great Stay, Great Staff

My daughter and I have stayed at this location at least half a dozen times and will definitely return.
What draws people back to a property, in addition to rooms and amenities, is the staff. In our experience, everyone we've encountered at Even has been polite and helpful.
Having worked at a hotel and in customer-facing jobs, I know how difficult it can be and with the pandemic, I can only imagine the extra challenges facing the staff. They have been nothing but pleasant every time.
The rooms we've stayed in have been super clean and we were happy to see that there were also anti-bacterial wipes available in each. The beds are also comfortable and we like having in-room exercise equipment!
We enjoy this location because it has a lot of nearby retail and restaurant options.
The only thing about the property that isn't my favorite is the parking garage. If I was traveling alone or at night, I would be more apprehensive. The floors reserved for the hotel were being worked on during our most recent stay so we were able to utilize the retail parking in front of the hotel. As there isn't valet service, it would be great if outside parking remained an option.
After getting home from our last stay, we realized with horror that we'd forgotten my daughter's irreplaceable "lucky travel blanket" that she's had since she was a baby. We called immediately after realizing our blunder and were thrilled that housekeeping found it.
