Would not stay here ever again

Absolutely no care taken in having your room nice, clean, and presentable for you. Linens had stains, desk chair was ripped, soaps and lotions were placed in the wrong spots (shampoo was by the sink, hand soap was in the shower…), rooms were tiny, AC was so loud, no food or bar available until after 5.

The hotel in my opinion was not very appealing or representative of IHG brand hotels with dirty hallways which were not cleaned our entire stay, a bathroom with missing tile, and worn. The room was quite small and with a low ceiling which could make someone feel claustrophobic with fixtures that were old and in poor condition paired with a pricey nightly fee.

I must say that this hotel knows what excellence is. From the minute you get in the door, to the warmth and the welcoming of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the room and just overall exceptionality, this hotel was terrific. I want to give a special shout out to Greg, the cook for, the kitchen. He was busy every morning but the way in which he prepared food was in a non-hurried and delicious way. Monique was at the front desk and she was absolutely lovely and helpful. Very kind spirited people. I would absolutely stay here again. It was a great experience in my hometown of Brooklyn.

Matt and staff were professional and very helpful. The location is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and public transportation. My family booked several rooms and was pleased with all the amenities. I felt at home during my stay at EVEN and hope to revisit one day.
Charged for amenities that was unavailable for me

I enjoyed my time at EVEN and even though it was only a one-night stay, the only thing that I didn’t like about my stay was the gym being unavailable to guests because of construction. I wish that was mentioned on the website before I had booked this stay. Also, there was someone smoking where the smell was coming into my room (I was close to the stairs), but the overnight staff quickly dealt with it and I was able to go back to sleep. Overall, I would love to come back, I just wish if amenities are closed to notify guests via the website. I feel as though the charge for amenities should’ve been voided.

Check in was smooth, the room was adequate and clean. It’s located close to time square so you won’t miss a thing. I definitely recommend

The front desk staff was so accommodating. Especially Kevin and the young lady working with him that morning I didn’t catch her name. The rooms are clean and super spacious. The even staff are every helpful and I will definitely recommend!
Very noisy AC

Overall the hotel is fine, the lobby with the self service kiosk is very useful due to the fact that it is available 24/7.
However, we had two rooms while one was fine the other one was very noisy when the AC enters to working mode. I went down to the reception and asked them to send an engineer to check it.
Came back from a restaurant after several hours and asked if it was fixed, well, the answer was that there was no issue found and the AC is operating normally. They asked if I want ear plugs. What the fck???
As we had two rooms we can say in full guarantee that the AC didn't operate normally as on the other room it was completely quiet. I do not recommend the hotel due to its high price without value for money. Rude staff.
They also charge 2 dollars per bag if you want to keep it in the hotel until your flight. They charged me even on nylon bag counted it as a luggage.
I didn't got any recognition as an IHG member.

I love staying at this location - it’s central to transit and great food, and the staff are amazing as well. It’s clean and nice and overall a good value !

I spent a lot of this year at the EVEN, and having been my 6th stay, you can guess I really do like it here.
Whether you're a IHG regular or it's your first visit you are given a warm welcome by personable and professional staff (Monique, Anastasia, Ariana and Tiffany especially!)
Any issues are resolved speedily (if there are any issues ) and staff are always keen to ensure that patrons are happy. The restaurant staff are always on standby, the food was of a great standard.
My room was spacious and clean. Bed comfortable, the pillows to die for! Housekeeping are a great team.
The location is perfect for travel, you're a stones throw from great shops, cafes and restaurants aplenty and the Barclays centre 5 mins walk away. You have 3 subway stations to make anywhere accessible.
Just be mindful that the front desk area can be a little busy during check-in, as the area is small.
The gym has two floors (no pool!) and has excellent amount of equipment that is clean and operational.
