Stay elsewhere- Run down and in a poor area.

We were really excited to stay at this property, as we’ve never had a bad experience at Staybridge.

Upon arrival, I noticed the outside was a little rundown, but figured maybe the inside would be better.

The rooms definitely need an upgrade and felt rundown with stains in the couch and overall just didn’t feel clean.

My husband went out to get our kids chocolate milk at 8 PM before dark and was followed by some folks lingering around the hotel. Overall, the area is kind of skeptical at night and I would be weary to stay here again for that reason.

We made sure to park up front coming back from a wedding in the dark because we were a little afraid to have our children outside at night.

In the morning, my husband actually had to go to the hospital for an emergency, and when we went up to the front desk, We asked the staff where the nearest hospital was, and their first answer was “I don’t know.“.

In all reality, we had Google on our side and found it ourselves, but to have a locals viewpoint being from out of the area would have been appreciated in an emergency.

It left a very poor taste in my mouth, and honestly made my my view of the IHG hotel brand poor.

We ended up needing to stay a few extra days, and shows to stay at another hotel in Bethlehem instead and had a wonderful experience.

We’ve really enjoyed staying at your properties previously, and hopefully these reviews will change some things.

Stayed in a queen studio. Room was way to small to fit a queen bed, was a full. Breakfast didn’t have many options, no fruit and trays. Fountain drinks turned off.

"One of the things that I love about staying at this property is how the staff makes me feel, welcomed and right at home. A special mention to Lakeema who is always very professional and friendly. As a divorced parent I come to Allentown to visit my daughters, I travel all the way from NYC after a hard day's work. And the moment that I arrive at the hotel, is like a breath of fresh air. Not only does Lakeema welcomes me and acknowledges my status as An IHG member but also addresses my daughters by their names, and that's what makes very special. Lakeema is ready to provide with menus and suggestions on where to go eat or attend events where I can spend some quality time with my girls. Also ready to provide me with the shuttle service to get me there. She covers every detail and makes my stay and time with my daughters incredible. I keep coming back not just because of a great stay but also because of the service that Lakeema and the rest of the staff provide. So Lakeema, thank you for everything you do and thank you for making every stay memorable".

We got there early and could not check in. No big deal, Lakeema Reed welcomed us and explained the computer system was down but she would do her best to accommodate us as soon as possible.
We sat in the nice lounge area and got some work done while we waited. Lakeema and her assistant kept us updated on progress and she did get us checked in, having to do it old school manually.
That is true professionalism and care for your customers.
Lakeema always had a smile and positive attitude towards all visitors.
She is a great representative for the brand.

Disappointed about my room

I stayed at this location a few and this last time was just a complete nightmare which really disappointed me, I can’t totally give it a negative review because this was the first actual complaint I have. First of all I had a non smoking room which smelt like a ashtray which I had the 2 full bedrooms/bathrooms
which the space was nice but the comfort level it lacked on. The last thing was the brown stain that was on my bed that in the 2 days I had it for they did not do anything to fulfill my request. I will not be might consider returning to this location but as of right. As a platinum elite member this is y

For the price it was okay

When we got in, there was still food on the carpet. The room had a broken door. I had to force the door open with my body. Plus the closet in a broken rack in the closet but other than that my stay was relaxing. Not alot of noise. Nikema at the staybridge and was very helpful and very nice to my needs. With everything in the surrounding area, it's a good spot near the airport

This hotel is in a prime location where you can order food and shop. We had two rooms which was a great help space wise.

Our rooms were very cozy and it was somewhat hard to adjust the temperature. However, our son figured it out for us.

Given this is covid times all staff should wear masks whether they are behind the partitions or not. Someone from housekeeping knocked on our door and did not have a mask on her face. Front desk staff also did not wear masks.

When checking out, front desk staff should place calls on hold to acknowledge guests departing hotel.

Overall it was a great stay. This was not our first stay which we have visited here many times over the years. We were very glad that the price on the website matched the various travel sites so we could receive our points.

We would definitely refer family and friends to this location.

This hotel was perfect for our needs, but if you want to use the indoor pool, they don't have one but you can use the pool at the garden inn next door.
