Requested room type was not honored. I spoke to a a hotel agent 3 days prior to our arrival and requested a double queen room, which she said they can do w/o any issues. Once we arrive we find out they only have a king room, we did not have an option due to how late in the night it was and decide to make it work. Once we get to the room, we realize that it’s a full/queen bed and not a king. The sofa bed is only a twin sofa as well.
Lack of communication on the hotels part….this could have been fully avoided if they had made a simple phone call to me, informing us of the room situation.
Management did not have any regard of the situation when the fd agent called them.
The hotel is seriously worn out and needs immediate attentions and a renovation.
We were also placed on the 4th floor where the entire floor smelled of cooking/odors.
Very disappointed!
Lack of communication!
Poor management!
Worn out hotel!

Staff rude, took my money on top of the money they took for the hotel stay, and stole my bag. Room nasty and I have pictures and receipts and bank statements.

I had a family emergency where I had to travel 9 hrs to get to Austin that same day and ash was super helpful to me and my parents and re assured me of my stay- shot out to ash!

Was charged multiple times for one visit, had my bank account drained twice and had to figure it out with the bank because your system kept screwing up, not happy at all now that I can’t buy gas since I don’t have any money until it fixed

Comfortable bed great privacy

I stayed here with my fiancé the Hotel for the most part was very quiet, comfortable, and felt like home. The ambiance was perfect, and had a lot of information about the area and things to do. The staff was accommodating and gave us plenty of privacy. The only bad thing I have to say i when it got cold and we turned on the heater there was this burnt smell that set off the fire alarm and since it was the end of our trip and we didn’t want to have to pack up everything and move for three days, we kept it off and bought mini blankets.

The carpet in the hallway smelled. The fitness center was too hot(78 degrees). There was no water, hand sanitizer, or sanitizing wipes available. I went to the front desk on three different occasions and asked them to correct this. Each time they pretended that it was going to be remedied, but to no avail.

Everything was extremely clean, my suite was big, staff was great. Very convenient to get downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was terrible. The ice and juice machines were broken. The sausage was burnt. The room lacked additional toilet paper and was noisy!

Will not return. Poorly maintained.

My truck was broken into along with 4 other vehicles same night

My truck was broken into. I personally talked to and saw two other couples whose vehicles were also broken into on the same night.
This hotel shares a parking lot with another hotel and I was told (didn’t see) that at least 2 vehicles from their guest were broken into on the same night.
Both hotels stated they only have cameras for their covered entryway. No cameras in parking lot.
I was told by the front desk lady that the manager would call me, but neither my husband or I have received a call from the manager. I did file a police report.
I suggest staying further North. I’ve had good experiences in Cedar Park.

A Good Hotel with Some Issues

This is overall a good hotel but needs some improvement. First, the good: all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, the room furnishings were in good condition, and the hotel is located in a very convenient area in NW Austin right off of 183, with easy access to other parts of the city. Unfortunately, we noticed some bugs in the room, including at least 2 cockroaches. We were able to manage the bugs with a mix of roach traps and natural bug repellents (didn't see any for several days after), however, shortly after removing these prior to departure, we spotted another cockroach, so they seem to have only kept them away rather than deal with the problem, The hotel needs to do a better job of pest control while the rooms are empty between stays. In addition, while the hotel advises that some room furnishings have been removed because of Covid, what's not in the room is strange. No phones (granted most guests have cell phones, but a room phone is easier for contacting the front desk), no clock in the bedroom, and no laundry basket (although I saw other guests had one in the laundry room). The hotel could also provide more towels in the bathroom, especially when they are aware of multiple guests, although staff was gracious about providing extra.
