I have to completely rave about the front desk receptionist Ana. We had been struggling to find a differently hotel as we were switching over from a hotel we couldn’t even sleep in the previous night. She was the best in letting us know as soon as our room was ready so we could start my family and I could start our birthday weekend! She was gracious enough to let us sit outside before checking in as we enjoyed our lunch. Room was so comfortable and we appreciated the friendliness of all the staff!

Hospitality & Clean Rooms!!! 1st Class!!!

I come into town and stay for work. I travel virtually every week and have stayed at numerous hotels in the area. This is by for the best hospitality in the entire Fossil Creek area. They have clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast is varied and the food is always fresh. Monday-Wednesday they have a happy hour social with finger snacks and drinks for your enjoyment. The pool area is clean and open more then any other hotel in the market. You are 10-15 mins from the Stockyards in Fort Worth and 10-15 mins from the nearest Bucees and Texas Motor Speedway.

They are so caring and accommodating! The staff here definitely went above and beyond to make my stay here welcoming and comfortable. The room cosmetics could use some updating/touch ups, but the service here makes it totally worth it. I highly recommend this property.

Nice Hotel…but

I have frequently stayed at this property for work. Unfortunately, I won’t any longer. I have to call the hotel for a receipt for my expenses as they don’t email it or put it on the IHG App. I always get receipts by both methods from other properties. Such a small detail that is such an inconvenience.

Stayed a night there and the lady on second shift was really polite and helpful. She called me and let me know my card decline. I told her I should be there by 10pm and she said she will hold the reservation till 10pm after 10 she will call me back or cancel the room. I ended up calling and giving her a valid cc around 7pm and let her know I won’t be in until 12-1am. Once I arrived I understand per safety the front doors are locked. I buzzed the buzzer and the door and of course nobody opened the door. Called the hotel and listen to the phone ring about 10 times until the guy finally let me in. Wasn’t very welcoming and didn’t greet me as a IHG member or ask if I wanted my points or water and a snack. Whatever I know it was late but no excuse. Room was ok bed was tiny. It was only one night so I dealt with it.

Disappointed!! Arrived from a 12 hour drive. Was tired and hot. AC was not working in the room. Took over an hour for maintenance to come and look at it. Couldn’t speak with him cuz he didn’t speak English. He gestured that it was working. 2 hours of it still being 80 degrees in the room the TV goes out. Call front desk. We end up moving to another room. AC and TV work but time to sleep and my son pulls out the hide a bed and it is broke!!! Call front desk again. They suggested we move to another room but at this point we were exhausted and didn’t want to move AGAIN!!!!! So we rearranged the so called couches so my son had somewhere to sleep. Next night he used an air mattress we had in vehicle.
I’m paying for a suite to have the extra bed for my son and we end up having to use our own stuff. Very disappointed and not once did anyone offer a discount.
Melissa was the staff working when all this happened to us. She felt bad and did her best to accommodate us. Thank you Melissa for your help.
When I checked out in the morning nothing was said. How was your stay etc…
I asked for a manager but not one available. Frustrating time. Otherwise the motel is nice.

A nice place

Spacious room. Bed was OK but slightly firmer than my plush. It was furnished with a couch I just couldn’t get comfortable on, but I’m used to a recliner. The mini kitchen and work desk were nice. The breakfast was OK. They rotate the meat each day, as well as the egg types. I dislike these things all motels seem to serve now that I guess are supposed to be scrambled eggs. I did like the cheese omelets the days they had them. They furnished salsa, cheese etc and boiled eggs as well as a yogurt bar with fruit and granola. I prefer a selection of pastries but all they ever offered was blueberry muffins. Toast, bagels, waffles etc. I must say their coffee is awesome.
The staff was professional and courteous. They offer a free social event Monday through Wednesday evenings serving hors d’oeuvres beer and wine.
They do have awesome towels. Large soft and absorbent. Daily maid service for the whole week which is rare these days.

When we arrived to check in with the blonde lady with glasses, she did not greet us just quickly asked if we had reservations she informed us that our reservation had been cancelled because our card declined. We did not receive an email or call or anything to notify us what happened. She tried to get us into a room and gave us the rates she had which were higher than the IHG app so I booked with the app again because she said she was not able to match or change any prices. We could hear everything at night. Fridge made noise all night. We didn’t feel welcome by the front staff, the only ones that did make us feel welcome was housekeeping the greeted us every morning they were very nice.

If you are looking for a nice hotel with great accommodations. Just do it, book this Staybridge. Easy on easy off I35. Great restaurants around.
