Derek was at the front desk when we checked in, my wife had just had surgery to replace her knee. He was so gracious and kind and assisted us to our room. You seldom see this kind of care and compassion anymore. Thanks for the opportunity to share this with you. B&B Portage Michigan GO BLUE!

I stayed at this hotel for work. My company choses to use this hotel because of the convenience of Austin landing. I checked in on the 10th of September and gave my IHG account number to the woman at the desk. I was told the points would be added. They have not been added and actually it stated I will receive 0 points. I also mentioned I would like my room cleaned on Wednesday. It did not get cleaned. I called down to the front desk and ask if it could be cleaned the next day while I was at work. It was not. The manager Rick called me Thursday afternoon to apologize and said I would receive 5,000 points for the inconvenience. That had not happened either.

good place to choose, but..

the hotel is clean and you can sleep well if you do not get the nosing neighborhood.
the food is good.
But, you know what, I just can't get the copy receipt. I have tried several times by talking, calling and emails, but there's no response to me. that's not friendly for business travel.

Luggage taken from parking lot .

Our luggage was stolen from parking lot when left unattended for 1 min .

Crime concern here . Hotel management said they do
Not have exterior cameras !

We would not stay here again due to LACK of
Exterior camera security.

Dead bugs in bathroom

Biggest complaint was staff refused to bring items needed to room. They did not leave enough toilet paper, but would not bring more off. They required someone from the room to go down. We were staying with two people that are on disability and handicap so it made it challenging. They would not bring additional towels up, even when we asked after leaving in the morning it was after 11 o’clock at night before they brought them up. Disappointing. Stayed for two nights recently and honestly a little disappointed. For the price I expected more. We have stayed at Staybridge suites before this one in particular needed some TLC. Dead bugs in the bathroom. The toilet was coming away from the wall when you sat on it. The netting on the boxspring was completely ripped off of it. Not enough furniture in the living room to accommodate for gas. We had to move furniture from bedrooms to be able to sit in the living room and socialize. Various things within the room needed to be replaced/tightened. Handle on the nightstand was hanging by one screw, seal in the dishwasher was hanging, doorstop/protector was hanging off the wall.

We are Diamond members of a different hotel,but this hotel is awesome!!! We will definitely be staying there again!!! We just might be switching to IHG!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Not a heated pool

We selected the Staybridge Suites in Miamisburg, Ohio for our family stay because the website said the pool was heated. It was not. The overall experience was satisfactory but we could not enjoy the pool because it was extremely cold. The cleanliness of the suite was wonderful, and the service was great, but when you’ve been on the road for 18 hours, and you’ve told your family about the pool, it’s a let down when you find out it isn’t what was advertised.

The hotel is clean but if you work night shift like i do don't plan on sleeping very noisy. Plus bring towels with you the hotel only gives you one set that has to be exchange every day to get a new one due to a supply chain issue.

Great stay and great location

We had a wonderful stay here visiting the area for the first time. The location is awesome, close to the highway but also the stores located in the group here is a big bonus. Having gas, groceries, food and shops all within walking distance was great! Plus, plenty of area shops all within minutes of the hotel. Another bonus was having Cincinnati only 30 mins away and Dayton 20min was great for visiting all the sites in both cities. Actually Columbus was an option for zoo as well.
The hotel staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was great and a good way to start the day. We only had wished it was starting a bit earlier on Sunday but not a big problem. Pool was nice and clean.
Overall, the hotel was clean, prehaps the carpet needed cleaning more but nothing out of the ordinary. The dog friendliness was a big bonus. There was an area just out the doors with dog waste bags and garbage. Some people didn't pick up after there dog which is a shame, this place gave you everything to make it happen.
The room was a great, we liked the two rooms with kids and a dog. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels. Another big bonus was the kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher and the ice maker was nice not having to be constantly going to get ice.
The only draw backs were some maintenance issues with the rooms, the door handles were very loose and coming apart, some tiles were broken, the shower drain was loose. One of the TV remotes didn't work. Basically, probably needed a good refresh. Nothing that took away from the stay at all.
Would recommend and visit again. Thanks
