There’s not enough starts to rate this hotel. I’ve traveled all over and have never seen a staff so excited and happy about their guest. Deja, Latoya and the rest of the crew were outstanding!
The hotel was super clean and smelled fresh. Our beds slept comfortably and the hotel was in an area convenient to restaurants, gas stations and Walmart. The breakfast was beyond our expectations and they had grits! :-)
It was so good, we’re coming back next month for my birthday. I wish I could pay you guys to travel with me and show other hotels how it’s done. Just outstanding!!!
Great Service from the beginning

My family stayed here in February 2023.This property is fantastic, from the staff, to the rooms and amenities! The night I was calling different properties in the area, this property was the only one I called that was able to answer my questions without pushing membership or anything! Stacy (on night shift) was extremely helpful, and she was the reason I chose to book with them, no matter the price. The rest of the staff were as equally amazing. Once we got to Charleston, I called to see if we could check-in earlier than 3:00 p.m. They tried to accommodate us just as quick as they could. Every single staff member went out of their way to be helpful and informative. The rooms are great, as well as the amenities such as the indoor pool, patio / grill area and the laundry room. Breakfast was over the top, and the staff was incredible there as well. I would highly, highly recommend this property to anyone. Best customer service, with everyone so upbeat and positive. You set the standards for sure!! They also had lists of locally recommended restaurants and activities.

We stayed 5 nights while visiting Charleston on vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. It was our first time staying at a Staybridge, and will definitely stay again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with different items every morning. We were unable to attend social hour that they have in the evening, but it looked like they have good food. Plus, they have beer and wine included. We were sad to miss it. We were in a King Studio, and loved it. Very large and comfortable. Nice large TV too. I’m a platinum member with IHG, I didn’t get a free upgrade due to lack of availability. That would be the only complaint I can think of. Also, they have a security guard watching the parking lot at night, which we appreciated.
Rude employees and disrespectful front desk

I've been staying here for a good minute now and I probably would have stayed staying here but due to disrespectful customer service front desk people I will not be horrible horrible and the rudest people I've ever spoken with no compassion just absolutely ignorant

I have recently had the opportunity to stay here during hurricane Ian and have gained a great deal of respect for the staff and management of this hotel because of my experience. The staff and employees were given the opportunity to stay here during the storm. On Friday North Charleston was closed for the most part. I watched the wind and rain from my bed. I received a call from the front desk inviting me to dinner at 4:30. Typically they have social events on Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday, but today MS Flo had cooked another of her wonderful meals. Thank you for being like my family while I’m away from home. Don’t expect me to ever stay anywhere else.

I always stay at the Staybridge when I travel to Charleston. It never fails to disappoint. Friendly staff & service.
Nice place to stay with pets

Stayed here for a couple nights while visiting Charleston.
Great location to restaurants and easy freeway access.
Front desk help was GREAT and provided several recommendations for eating and entertainment.
Outside and inside were clean and orderly as to be expected.
Rooms were clean and odor free
My biggest complaint was the "breakfast". Mediocre, at best, for the days I was there. Far below the standard I have been accustomed to al other IHG properties. Morning breakfast was limited to one egg choice and one meat choice. Please take note, most guests don't like the "omelet" choices. Probably why those hot serving trays are always full of them. Didn't see any potatoes/veggies, biscuits, gravy or hot oatmeal. There were no pre-packaged take-away breakfast sandwiches, muffins or pastries. Very few plain yogurt and 2% milk in cold section. Slim section of fresh fruit and cereals as well

The social event for last night sucked. Pretzel rolls and cheese caso with a salad? No wonder nobody showed up. It’s still the BEST beds in Charleston though.
Lice infested

It was a nice stay until a couple weeks later when we realized we picked up lice. At first, we had no idea where we could have picked it up, but when we realized that two other family members had gotten them as well. These family members were in different hotel rooms and went to 3 different states. The family members that did NOT stay in the hotel did not have lice, leading us directly to this hotel being the source. After being passed through 2 different GMs, we were told their pest company does not even check for lice when inspecting/treating the hotel. We will never stay in this hotel again. We likely won’t stay in any of this company’s hotels again knowing their lack of cleaning is probably company wide.

Where to start? The staff was exceptional! The front desk ladies are very welcoming and super friendly. The cleaning staff are awesome on their cleaning. This was our first stay away from home since the pandemic and I was worried about cleanliness, so I brought my own cleaning supplies with me. They were not needed. The rooms were spotless. I of course still had Lysol spray and wipes for everyday use. BUT, the room was very clean! NOW, let's talk about them beds! Oh my, they are AWESOME!! I have NEVER slept so well at a hotel. The most comfortable bed, better than my own bed at home. The convience of having the full kitchen was great. I was able to cook for all of my kiddos and not eat so much take out. The breakfast that was offered at the hotel was good, but due to COVID-19 it is not OPEN and understandable. So, there is someone there serving you what they have for the day. My kids loved the breakfasts. We didnt try the dinner because we were always gone during that time, but it sure smelled good each time we came back, LOL
The indoor pool is really nice and right now you have to make an appointment to use it, which was great for us, because there were 8 of us, we had the whole thing to ourselves for an hour each time. Again, it was VERY clean in there as well. The guy working in there was always cleaning in and around the pool room.
All in all we had a great time while there and will most definitely stay there again on our next time in the Charleston, SC area.

Anyone visiting or living in Charleston has to stay at Staybridge Suites at least once. I've stayed at Staybridge Suites on several different occassions. The food,rooms and facilities are very good. The best thing though is the staff. They will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. I plan vacations and business trips with this facility in mind. Like "must see" tv shows, Staybridge is a "must stay" facility.
