Hôtel vieillot qui est dans son jus, offre un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix , bien loin des standards des autres hôtels intercontinental. Le personnel était incompétent, non arrangeant, et très peu commercial

L’hotel présente des qualités néanmoins les prix pratiqués vis a vis des prestations proposées ne sont pas du tout en accord : 500€ d'écart par nuit (1200€/nuit tout de meme !) vis a vis de vos confreres de bora, et les niveaux de services / prestations / décors (hotel dans son jus) / information du personnel que vous proposez sont bien inférieurs.
Le personnel est tres sympathique et devoué, néanmoins il semble que certaines informations client ne soient pas communiquées entre postes, ce qui malgré la gentillesse du personnel peut parfois gâcher l’experience.

Dernier point, le decor de la suite sur pilotis en plaqué bois, là où vos confrères utilisent des bois exotiques, renvoient une image commune d’hotel de chaine, et cheap de la chambre, là encore inadequate vis a vis des prix pratiqués.

Très beaux bungalow bien rénovés . Service petit déjeuner à parfaire

Nous avons été ravis de notre bungalow bien rénové et de qualité largement supérieur aux chambres du resort .

L’acceuil et le service du petit-déjeuner laisse à désirer : on a l’impression de déranger . Dès 9h30-10h les équipes préparent le service d’après et nous demandent de nous installer à des endroits spécifiques.
Le buffet est en mode shut-down dès 10h.
Dans ces conditions autant raccourcir le service officiel du petit-déjeuner .

Aucune reconnaissance de la notion de membre IHG contrairement à ce que font vos concurrents (Bonvoy, All, Hilton, …).
2eme séjour de 7/8 nuits entre décembre et février (et nombreux séjours ces dernières années) avec une nette impression de baisse de qualité.

Must stay in Tahiti!

First time in Tahiti and this was the best first impression of it! The hotel live up to the hype! Very clean and beautiful! The views are great from our room and the resort! There are two swim areas plus a snorkel area. The food and drinks were great! Thank you Mr. Thierry Brovelli and staff for making our stay wonderful! Elaine&john

I booked this hotel because it was priced similarly to other properties in the area that I knew were nice. I was wrong. Our water pressure was unreliable, the power was flickering, making for a very hot and uncomfortable sleep in limited a/c. Also, the toilet stopped flushing due to the water pressure problems. The staff was all very nice and courteous, but I am disappointed we were not compensated in any way after all these issues. I paid over $600 for one night, and couldn’t get late check out or any type of voucher despite a number of problems outside of my control.

Nous avons séjournés 1 nuit (24/09=25/09) et avions réservés 2 chambres. Nous sommes arrivés avec ATN vers 22h. A notre arrivée à l'hôtel, après un rapide passage en chambre, nous décidons de commander à boire (soft, jus d'ananas) sur la terrasse. Je demande à mon frère de mettre toutes les conso sur notre chambre, je n'avais pas de francs pacifiques et souhaitais régler par carte bancaire. Le barman lui répond: "eh chef il faut payer maintenant". Mon frère règle donc nos conso. Néanmoins le même scenarios se reproduit quand mes grds-parents reçoivent leur PDJ en chambre. Le Room Service la harcele pour le règlement. Ma grd-mère lui demande d'ajouter le PDJ à la chambre mais la dame lui déclare: "non il faut payer maintenant". Ayant travaillé dans un hôtel 5 étoiles auparavant, je conçois que l'on puisses se faire réprimander si le client laisse des impayés mais de là à harceler le "client" parce que c'est ce que nous étions, des clients. Nous n'allions pas nous en aller sans régler ce qui doit l'être. A contrario, ma mère et moi avions decidé de prendre notre PDJ au restaurant face à la piscine. Là nous n'avions eu aucun mal à leur demander de mettre notre PDJ sur la chambre.
Néanmoins, les cotés positifs sont les suivants: la réactivité du night audit qui nous a expliqué le fonctionnement de la climatisation, le réceptionniste lors du check-out, les chambres super propres merçi les HK, la vue magnifique, le jeune bagagiste qui nous a aidé avec mon grand-père et les valises lors du check-out et le PDJ au restaurant.
Mauruuru pour le séjour mais on ne souhaite pas réiterer l'expérience avec certain de vos personnels.

Amazing place!

This is an amazing hotel no doubt about it! The restaurant manager definitely went above and beyond preparing a “take out” pizza for us since we wanted to eat in our room but went down to look at the menu and order. He was so kind and thought of every detail from ice and lemon in our glasses for our cokes to pepper sauce and herbed olive oil for our pizza! One thing to note is the mattress was exceptionally firm which I am not a fan of. Also we did wake up and the a/c was off for some reason. It was on before we went to sleep. I got up opened and closed the patio door and locked it again and it came back on. Also there was no sheet provided so we only had a thick duvet to sleep under. The pools were very nice, although we arrived in the late afternoon and there were no loungers available. Those things were fairly minor as we were only staying one night. Over all it was a great experience and the grounds were absolutely stunning!!

STAY & EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK - WARNING - FISH TOXIN POISONING

My husband and I recently had a disastrous stay at the Intercontinental Tahiti due to the hotel's sheer negligence in food handling. Not only was the property itself tired and rundown, but our stay was marred by a severe Scromboid (fish toxin) poisoning incident that required us to seek urgent medical attention.Two weeks after returning home, I am still suffering symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath and rapid heartbeat.

It is inconceivable that a supposedly 5-Star hotel would allow its guests to fall victim to such a preventable food borne illness. The fact that the hotel served contaminated fish that led to our poisoning speaks volumes about their complete disregard for basic food safety practices. It is appalling and utterly unacceptable.

Moreover, the hotel management’s handling of the incident at the time it occurred was disgraceful. The duty manager was rude to us at a time when we needed urgent care. Instead of promptly addressing the situation, providing immediate medical assistance, and taking responsibility, the hotel attempted to downplay the severity of the situation. Our repeated requests for assistance were met with indifference, which left us feeling helpless when we were desperate for medical care. It was abundantly clear that the hotel's management has little regard for guest safety, comfort or well-being. As a foreign guest needing urgent medical care as a direct result of acute fish toxin poisoning from eating the hotel's food, there is certainly much more one could expect.

The duty manager said she called the paramedics, but after waiting 30 minutes, my condition was so severe, I needed urgent treatment. As the paramedics had not arrived, my husband continually requested that the hotel call us a taxi. He was told that taxis don’t work for the hotel and taxis were only contracted to take passengers to the airport. The lack of genuine caring or responsibility taking were absolutely disgraceful.

When a taxi finally became available (after 40 minutes), the executive assistant general manager helped two other hotel guests into the taxi beside us. He then told the driver to drop the other guests to the airport BEFORE taking us to the hospital, which was completely OUTRAGEOUS! By this time, I was so ill I could not breathe. The manager's response to my husband's ire was, “But these guests have to get to the airport.”

THE INTERCONTINENTAL TAHITI FAILED COMPLETELY IN ITS DUTY OF CARE TO ENSURE OUR PHYSICAL SAFETY AND WELL-BEING.

Since the poisoning debacle, the executive management have denied responsibility for the poisoning even though we ate exclusively at the hotel during the entirety of our stay. In addition, they have refused to take responsibility for our out-of-pocket medical expenses. In correspondence, they have demonstrated a complete disinterest in our experience, safety or satisfaction. This lack of transparency and accountability only further demonstrate management's lack of professionalism and concern for guest welfare. The response to the incident has been woefully inadequate.

In light of the distressing events and our overall horrendous experience, I strongly advise against staying at this establishment. The hotel's flagrant disregard for food safety, coupled with their abysmal guest service, make it abundantly clear that guest well-being and satisfaction is not a priority for them. Save yourself the misery, and choose a hotel that values your well-being and provides a safe and enjoyable stay.

It is my sincere hope that the management of the Intercontinental Tahiti takes these criticisms seriously, rectifies their shortcomings, and ensures that no guest ever has to endure such a harrowing experience again.
