From arrival to departure, everything was smooth. Our AC in the room wasn’t working when we turned back at night, but maintenance was able to replace a blower fan in the unit within 30 minutes! Staff was excellent. Room cleanliness was very good.

Quería una habitación para cuatro, en vez de eso me hicieron tener dos habitaciones, todo se pagó con puntos, mismos que ya perdí. Ambas me las cobraron y solo en una me dieron desayuno para una persona.

Injusto solo perdí mis puntos, pudimos habernos quedado en una sola habitación los cuatro sin desayuno.

Áreas de oportunidad para mejora.

1.- La regadera es confusa y difícil de regular y también difícil de cerrar quedaba goteando si todas son iguales a las de mi habitación merecen una modernización

2.- El ruido de las patrullas te despierta es muy difícil mantenerte dormido, si toman en cuenta que el hotel al vacacionar vas a dormir pase 2 días fatales durmiendo a ratos y mi pareja igualmente

3.- No conozco la política de limpieza del hotel pero de un día a otro no limpiaron la habitación y no dejaron agua, en todos los hoteles Intercontinental y me he quedado en más de 20 en el mundo porque me gusta mucho casi siempre la experiencia es excelente, ahora simplemente no pude disfrutar mi vacacion!

Sadly I had a room on the 4th floor that looked at the dome roof over the entry and had metal HVAC ductwork in front of the window. So I could only look up to see the sky.

We stayed downtown Chicago in June 24. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Great location. Staff was pleasant upon arrival.

May be we are spoiled staying at Ihg properties all over the world and at this property our expectation were shattered.
It’s a very old building to start .
Breakfast is better at holiday inn express I guess.
They charge you for amenity as well. Surprised.
Overall I am a Ihg lover but next time I will rather stay at less expensive hotel and spend my mula somewhere else.

Spacious room. Mostly clean but did feel dusty. Bathroom vents were caked with dust/rust. Very very loud outside hotel with constant sirens, cars and booms. Typical for a big city but seemed louder than experienced in other cities. Desk staff was great. Very helpful. Bellman was also awesome and greeted us each morning and was ready to offer up suggestions. Pool area was impressive looking-no hot tub though.

The hotel was nice and conveniently located. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great experience for our first trip to Chicago! Would definitely recommend. .

Clean, Modern, Gresat Location

Hotel is very clean, with several modern updates. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite on floor 26. the room had nice modern amenities, including 2 large screen LCD TVs, a mini bar and separate small fridge for personal use. The bathroom has a marble shower- however it does not have a full door or any way to prevent the water from flowing out into the bathroom area. this should be addressed with full sliding shower door. plugs are hard to find and few available. it is an old hotel, so they should incorporate several plug stations in bedroom and the living room areas. The gym has a nice two-level cardio and weight room, and there is a very large pool with stadium seating for weekend movie nights at the pool. the staff is very friendly and welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. Starbucks and Michael Jordan restaurant and bar are on site and provide nice options - just be prepared for the cost at Jordan’s. Great convenient location- close to many hot spots to eat or grab a drink and close to the train on grand ave. overall- highly recommended for business or pleasure while visiting Chicago.

Poor breakfast compared with other surrounding hotel.
Only good things are Location.
Meaningless to stay here.
I have more choice of hotel near here.

I’m Royal ambassador status of IHG hotels. Staffs at this hotel have no respects for Royalty member. I felt no hospitality at all in this hotel. Very bad check-in experience even I stayed here 10 days ago. Not welcome at all. Front desk staff at check-in was same staff at check-out 10 days ago. Poor condition of air conditioner. It’s so noisy. No variety of food in breakfast. Overall service is poor compared with other surrounding hotels such as Hyatt regency, Farmont, Sheraton and others. I have regretted to choose this hotel.
