Lack of overall cleanliness

Being I’ve stayed here before and this being my first bad experience I’m leaving a review. I understand hotel was booked heavily, however a guest shouldn’t be told laundry is behind and have to visit the front desk twice before getting clean towels. First time using the gym and when I brought it to the front desk attention that algae growing in the water her response was we don’t really pay attention to that one but the 3 upfront was fresh. She did say she was going to clean it but this is supposed to be a wellness hotel. Breakfast was great all 3 days and have great drinks at night. Overall 6 out of 10 this stay.

Although this hotel is in a nice location, the staff are a little rude and parking charges an extra fee when paying in the app.

I paid 50USD difference between my cash out and invoice and till now didn’t get any feedback and explanation for what.. no refund.

Eigentlich gibt es nicht am Hotel zu beanstanden also gebe ich für das nette Personal und das saubere Zimmer 5*. Jetzt kommt aber das große ABER. 12$ Parkplatzgebühr pro Tag, unabhängig ob ich erst abends anreisen und früh morgens Abreise, werden da fällig. Das finde ich unverschämt und dafür gibt es nur 1*. Macht Gesamt 3*. Schafft die Parkplatzgebühr ab dann gibt es von mir volle Punkte.
Wir wollten eigentlich im September wieder dort eine Nacht verbringen aber diese Buchung habe ich storniert. Ein paar Straßen weiter gibt es Hotels die genauso sauber sind und keine Gebühr zum parken verlangen.

This is a very nice hotel when compared to the Holiday Inn, but the nickel and diming is ridiculous, $12 per night for parking in and aria that isn’t bad is ridiculous and extra for breakfast.

I booked this stay making sure that they allowed dogs. Who is never informed that there was $100 a night pet charge. This seems like something that I should have been informed of prior to showing up. it also seems a bit excessive. Had we have known we could have had our neighbor watch our dog until we got back. I was not very happy about this and unfortunately, since I wasn’t told until I was standing in the lobby, I had no choice but to pay it. In addition, I wasn’t happy to see that there was carpeting in the halls and the rooms where they allow dogs. I don’t have problems with my dog, but I do know that other dogs sometimes have bathroom problems and may have gone on the rugs. That was a very gross thought, and made for an uncomfortable experience in the room.

Our stay was less than good. Room was noisily, tv did not work, shower sprayed every where. TV did not work and when we called for help they sent someone that did not speak English. When checking out we asked for copy of bill and they said we would receive it in 10 days. Terrible hotel service.

I reserved an double bed room two weeks ahead.
The day I had to check in, 10 min pass the check in time the hotel front desk calls saying that my reservation was canceled.
First reason, maintenance problems.
Second reason, 10 min later, overbooked.
After I insisted, front desk employee talks to the manager, 10 seconds later, they found a room with a single bed, “somebody just canceled”.
At check in, upon my request, I was offered complementary breakfast. To learn next day in the morning that breakfast is not served, “over the night we had an maintenance problem with the oven”.
The front desk employees or the manager made no efforts to resolve the problem, I heard 10 times, “sorry we understand you had an confirmed reservation but nothing we can do about it, we cannot check you in, “have a good day”.
No customer oriented staff .
First and last time booking a room at this location.

Would not recommend. Internet was spotty would work at times and then drop. Only have of the TV station would come in. This was my first stay at an Even hotel and first in many years at an IHG property. I will not be back.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this location. I have never stayed at an EVEN hotel. I will continue to do so when it’s an option. I have many out of town Dr appts and this is the best location to unwind and be directly across from an upscale shopping center. Loved the yoga equipment, the face I could reach the tv to plug in my computer to watch my shows. And the headboard lighting is fantastic. Courteous staff…
Not enough good things to be said.
