The staff are extremely helpful and genuinely try to meet all your requests! We go to this beautiful place on the beach twice a year. Nicole in the front office was excellent! 😊

The suites were awesome and I definitely felt it was a great value. I wish the pool was bigger and there was a lifeguard. I was pelted with pool dart from a group of kids whose parents were not watching them. When I said something to the parent she ignored me Her kids continued to drive other guests away from the pool due to the same behavior. Kind of dampened the stay.

This is a great hotel just no breakfast and not so close to too many food places but I would do stay here again

This hotel needs to be shut down. Closed and not ever reopen. The amount of mold and the roaches should be enough to condemn this place. The night staff lady was not helpful in resolving any issues. I have No idea how anyone is ok with staying at such a disgusting facility.

Mot having daily room service is bad. The refrigerator stunk so bad we had to go buy baking soda to kerp the smell at bay. Had to unplug the dishwasher due to it beeping every few minutes. The ceiling fans had over an Inch of dust on them. The glass shel in the bathroom had not been cleaned in who onows how long. The refrigerator also was very un level. The patio door did not lock. Had to be rude to the guy trying to sell us on a tome share just to get him to shut up. Overall it was the worst IHG hotel I have stayed in. I am a diamond elite member and feel like I waisted my points. If I was paying cash I would have left the next day after checking in. I will not stay there again

As far as this goes the room was like a small apartment. We were on the top floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This is what a vacation should be like. Parking was ok. But the staff definitely needed some serious training on how to treat their guests. I’m a platinum elite member and am entitled to extra benefits if available. I called well ahead of time before arriving to make sure early check in was available and was told yes I would be able too. But upon arrival I was told no and they made sure my room was the last to clean and prep. Room service was walking out as we were walking in. The woman at the fron dest was more interested in being on the computer than taking care of guests. I had to wait 15 minutes standing there before she would wait on me to get any information and to check out. I know this was last year when I was there and hopefully the staff has been replaced with people actually willing to do their jobs and take care of guests.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Club - Galveston was a bit disappointing to say the least. The facility was not as it appeared on the web pages. The grounds around the pool were moldy in places and unclean. The room showed a large balcony and the actual balcony was very small, not what we expected. The room size was acceptable, but not as clean as we expect from IHG facilities.
We have stayed at many IHG places and this was no doubt the most disappointing for the cost.
I do not reccomend .
